Effective August 30, 2021: In order to help protect our patrons and staff, all individuals age 3 and older are required to wear a face covering or mask at all times, regardless of vaccination status. The mask must cover your mouth and nose and fit snugly. Reasonable accommodations such as curbside service and online resources are available for those who are medically prevented from, or decline to wear a face covering. If the service needed is unavailable through these options accommodations can be requested by contacting Deanna Howard at 630-552-2009. Thank you for helping to keep our community safe.

Special Book Club Meeting at the Farnsworth House

Read BROKEN GLASS, by Alex Beam, then join us for a book discussion and tour at the Farnsworth House. The book tells the true story of the intimate relationship that gave birth to the Farnsworth House, a masterpiece of twentieth-century architecture. Ultimately, however, the relationship disintegrated into a bitter feud over love, money, gender, and the very nature of art. Free, but registration is required and space is limited. Books are available at the lower level Checkout Desk. More information will be provided at the time of registration.
