Friends of the Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Library Book Sale will be held in the meeting room during regular library hours AUGUST 16-AUGUST 31 (CLOSED SUNDAYS). Beginning on August 24th all items will be sold for $4.00 a bag. VHS tapes and audio cassettes will be free throughout the sale.

Wednesday Night Book Group

The book for August, "The Ocean at the End of the Lane" by Neil Gaimen, will be discussed.  The book for September, "Ballad of the Whiskey Robber" by Julian Rubinstein, will be available at the Check-Out Desk.  This group reads a variety of genres.  New members are welcome any time.

Knit and Crochet Group

This informal group works on their own projects, discusses types and colors of yarn, and helps each other with new or tricky patterns.  Participants bring their own supplies. No registration required. Location: Board Room.  

Writers’ Group

Come join other writers to discuss your work.  Open to adults and high school students.  No registration required.  Location:  Board Room.

Free ESL Classes

Classes begin September 5. Led by local volunteer Betty Ross, this informal group meets to develop and increase English language speaking and reading skills. Newcomers welcome any time.
