1,000 Books before Kindergarten
Sign up now!
Kids — Any child (including babies) who has not yet started kindergarten can join the program. Just stop by the Kids' Library Desk to register and get your reading log. Each time you read 100 books to your child bring your log back to have your picture taken for our reading wall. Then keep reading! One thousand books may seem like a lot, but if you read just one book a night together you'll meet your goal in less than 3 years. If you read 3 books a night you'll reach your goal in just one year!
I Can Read Club
Begins August 15
Kids — Kindergartners & First Graders are invited to join the I CAN READ CLUB, beginning August 15th and continuing through the school year. Just read a page from a book to a staff member and you are in! We’ll take your picture and hang it on our club tree. After you sign your name in the big club book you’ll receive a bookmark and a free book to keep.
Free Movie for Kids
Wednesday, January 2 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. OR 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Kids — Helen is called on to help bring Supers back while Bob navigates normal life at home. But when a new villain hatches a dangerous plot, only the Incredibles can overcome it together. Rated PG. All ages, children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult. Free refreshments served. No registration required. Attendance is limited to the first 80 people.
Glass Art Class
Thursday, January 3 2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. OR 6:15 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
